Naser Abdollahi

Well.. A week ago I was at the studio when Saeed told us that Naser Abdollahi has passed away, We couldn't find it on internet and tried to confirm it with some people but it was too late so we couldn't announce it on TV and now I saw it every where. Its really sad and I am speechless...

2 of my old friends and one of my new friends used to be member of his band, Naseria. You probably all know Atash Group who used to play in Persia Restaurant, and Babak who is the best musician in London, They were part of his band.

ناصر عبداللهی خواننده موسيقی پاپ ايرانی ده روز پيش از رسيدن به سن 36 سالگی در تهران درگذشت

آقای عبداللهی در بيمارستان هاشمی نژاد تهران جان باخته که بيمارستان تخصصی بيماريهای کليوی است و علت مرگ او اختلال در عملکرد مغز و ديگر اندامهای داخلی به دليل مسموميت دارويی اعلام شده است.
ناصر عبداللهی اهل شهر بندرعباس در جنوب ايران بود و آن گونه که در گزارشها آمده، پيش از مرگ چهار هفته در بيمارستانهای بندرعباس و تهران بستری بوده است.
ناصر عبداللهی از نسل نوی خوانندگان پاپ ايرانی به شمار می رود که از يک دهه پيش بدين سو و در پی مجاز شدن موسيقی پاپ در داخل ايران وارد عرصه هنری ايران شدند.
وی با ترانه فاطمه‌ بنت‌ نبی‌ شهرت يافت که خود نيز در يکی از مصاحبه هايش آن را "جزء لاينفک‌ ذهن‌ و خاطر" خود خوانده بود.
از ناصر عبداللهی آلبومهای دوستت دارم،بوی شرجی و هوای حوا منتشر شده است.

ناصر عبداللهي در ساعت ده و ده دقيقه ی دهمين روز از دهمين ماه , سال 1349 در محله باغ بندر عباس به دنيا آمد .

پدرش عبدالرحمن عبداللهي از كارگران بازنشسته شركت نفت و مادرش مهرنگاربندري نيايي خانه دار است .

او چهاربرادر و يك خواهر دارد، تنها خواهرش نسرين و برادرانش به ترتيب سن محمدطيب , نادر , عليرضا و عقيل هستند که ناصر برادر وسطي آنها است , يعني سومي .

ناصر در هيجده سالگي با فهيمه غفوري اهل بندرعباس که سه سال از خودش بزرگتر است ازدواج كرد و حاصل آن سه فرزند ( دو پسر و يك دختر ) به نامهاي نويد , نازنين و نامي است . همسر ناصر تعداد فرزندان خود را كافي مي داند در صورتي كه ناصر به پنج فرزند ديگر اعلام نياز مي كند!

از خانواده او دخترش نازنين نيز به خوانندگي علاقمند است و در كنسرتهاي او هنرنمايي مي كند و اميدوار است كه روزي در ايران حداقل خانمها بتوانند براي خانمها كنسرت برگزار كنند.

متاسّفانه به علّت نا معلومی از پنجشنبه شب 2 آذر 1385 در کما به سر می برد. تا کنون علّت هایی مانند مسمومیت حاد به وسیلهء قرص آرامبخش، درگیری جسمانی مطرح شده است که هیچ کدام توسّط اطرافیان و تیم معالجش تائید نشده اند.

ناصر عبداللهی سر انجام صبح چهارشنبه 29 آذر 1385 در بیمارستان هاشمی نژاد تهران در گذشت، پیکر او از مقابل تالار وحدت تشییع خواهد شد.

Sprout-eating man fails in record bid

A man has failed to set a new world record for eating Brussels sprouts.

Richard Townsend, 24, of Exeter, hoped to eat as many sprouts as he could in a minute.
He fell seven short of the target of 43, which was set in December 2003 by Dave Mynard from London.

Mr Townsend, who had eaten a plate of sprouts every day for the last six months as training, said he just "lost it".

According to the BBC he said: "I do not think I could face another sprout for a few days."

He had peeled then cooked the sprouts for four minutes in order to ensure they were exactly one inch in diameter.

But the record set by Dave Mynard, from London, still stands. Mr Townsend's bid raised £250 for charity.

Kylie won't Play Glasto!

Kylie Minogue will not be playing Galstonbury!

Kylie was hotly tipped to headline next year's festival after she was forced to pull out of the event in 2005, due to being diagnosed with breast cancer.

However, festival organiser Emily Eavis has revealed that Kylie is just too busy next year.

"She's got a lot of touring up her sleeve and I think if she was going to do Glastonbury, she'd rework her show and I don't think it's going to be possible in that time frame," Eavis told BBC 6 Music.

"It's just not going to happen."

Eavis refused to confirm rumours that Muse and The Killers would be taking over headlining duties but did say that they've "got really good stuff coming in".

What is Glastonbury Festival?

It's the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world.

It's like going to another country. It involves travel, and probably a queue to get in. Then you enter a huge tented city, a mini-state under canvas. The Law still applies, but the rules of society are a bit different. Everyone is here to have a wild time in their own way. The site has distinct socio-geographic regions. The more commercial aspects are around the Pyramid, Other and Dance stages, like the West End on a Saturday night has been removed to a field, beautified, and you're on every guest list, including the night time cinemas. And then there are more relaxed areas like the Jazzworld and Acoustic areas, and the family oriented areas like the Kidz Field, the Theatre and Circus fields, and an increasingly alternative aspect as you pass the Field of Avalon, the Tipi Field, and the Green Fields before you reach the hedonistic madness that is Lost Vagueness. And at the top of the site is the Sacred Space - its stone circle being a modern construction, and yet perhaps it has already seen as much celebration and ceremony as some of its foregoers.

The next Festival will take place, subject to licence, in June 2007 from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th.

GEM TV

Well I would like to make an announcement which many people already know about it and ITN-LIVE and Shiraz-Sat were the first websites that I told them about it and they started announcing it.

GEM TV is a New British Channel on HOTBIRD 6 which is going to be operated by myself and 2 Other Colleagues (Mansour & Farzam).



We are hoping to start Test Broadcasting from 1st January 2007 but no one knows. Wish us all luck as it would be the First Proper Persian Channel from UK.

More info would be coming soon, I have to keep them secret until the launch!

We are Persian Girls in London so our main aim is to write about ourselves and daily diary!
